Income based JSA - savings

Still on JSA after 6 months and now need to move to income based. Can't seem to find the rules regarding savings and how they affect the weekly benefit.

My situation:
- Searching for work
- Living with parents whilst doing so, therefore no outgoings
- have >£6000 but <£16,000 in savings.

How does the amount of savings affect the weekly benefit?

For every £250 you have over 6k you lose £1 a week JSA. And you have to tell them if you get more money (for example if you get a particularly generous birthday present, or you save up your JSA and it goes over £250) or you'll technically been overpaid.

JSA is reduced by £1 for every £250 in savings above £6000. If your savings exceed £16000, you get nothing.
