Specsavers - Wrong Lenses In Glasses

Hi all,
Hope you are all OK and enjoying the sunshine.
A quick question for you. I went to Specsavers 2 years ago to get some new glasses. I had the eye test about a month before I went to get the glasses. Picked them up and as normal, the vision was a bit blurry. Had a few headaches with them, so popped back and each time I was told that this was normally the case with new glasses. So I took their word for it and thought I will get used to them. Headaches persisted but I thought that was just me as each time I went in they just fobbed me off.
Went for my eye test 3 weeks ago and I was told that whoever had ordered the lenses messed up and ordered them from the eye test prescription 6 years ago. I didn't say anything at the time as I did not know if I had any rights?
Has anyone else had a problem like this? If so, do you think I might be entitled to something? I'm probably not, but just thought I would ask on here first before I went in and complained.

2 years later, probably not.
Although Specsavers operate under something like a franchise agreement so you can contact the directors of the local store quite easily. I would write them a letter and see what they say, especially if you have been a customer for 6+ years!Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I'd write to them (the local franchise director where the problem was) and politely explain the problem and what outcome you would like (a replacement pair of glasses free perhaps?). I've used them for years (three different branches) and whenever I've had a problem they've always put it right without any argument.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
