Wondering if anyone was successfully using an alternative fuel in their car's Specifically a Vectra 2.0 DTi? (53 Plate)

Currently running a 1994 Audi 80 TDI on vegetable oil (probably only around 2k miles so far, previously an Astra F and a Corsa B, perhaps 24k between them).
Also running a Grand Voyager CRD on 100% biodiesel. Thats me done roughly 5k miles in that.
Quick look at biomotors(http://www.biomotors.co.uk/CarsVansV.html#Opel) suggests the Vectra could run veg oil if adapted (2 tank kit). It should be fine on well made biodiesel.
If you're looking to buy commercially produced bio, a loss in fuel economy may wipe out any savings over pump diesel.0
