Boiler query - Worcester or Valiant

I've been recommended two boilers:-
Worcester Greenstar 30 Si Condensing Combi Boiler about £1080 with flue inc vat

or
Vaillant EcoTec Pro 28 High Efficiency Condensing Combi Boiler about £950 with flue inc VAT.

Does anyone know which is the better here and does the price difference mean anything? I definitely want one of these 2 makes. I know very little about boilers so any advice is welcome. I have 1 bathroom in a four bedroom house.

They're both good boilers however, when I chose, I went with the Worcester. The installer was an acredited Worcester installer which meant the warranty on the boiler was extended to 7 years. So if anything happens to my boiler parts and labour are covered for 7 years.

I also have the remote control thermostat and for the first time my house wasn't cold this past winter AND we saved money on the gas bill versus our old boiler.

Also, IIRC, the amount of hot water flow rate each boiler can generate is variable. I went with the boiler that had the higher flow rate for the sake of a few quid more.

I also went for Worcester Bosch, from a very unreliable Ferroli. Had no problems 3 yrs on.

Because 95% of people I've spoken to in the trade say they're the best option.

Might there be a reason for that?

There are a lot of potential reasons. Interestingly though Valiant accredited fitters are happy to recommend Worcester Bosch and vica versa. But though they say some of the others are ok they aern't as good.
Do you have any suggestions for other reasons?

IMO the make both myself & gas4you have recommended are better, worcester are overpriced & although the spare parts are not a bad price they are a nitemare to work on which will increase your servicing costs, most worcester boilers have an aliminum heat exchanger while most of the other boilers use stainless steel, i'm not dening worcester are good boilers i just think remeha are better

Neither... we recommend the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus...but a boiler is only as good as the standard of the installation and annual servicing. More here.;)
Ask to see CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering)

interesting web site & an awful lot of cr*p boilers listed on there too, with regard to the ecotec i've had to replace 2 divertor valves in the last two wks as the spindles were leaking & blew the motor, one of them less than a yr old. (i know you can get service kits but you have to take the valve out to do it so you may as well replace it).
