Lost my earlier post somewhere in cyberspace:confused: up since 5am to take DS2 to school for a rugby trip in France so looking bleary eyed now!

Waited in all morning for estimates to repair front path and only one guy turned up when i was about to go in the shower! Why cant people ring when they dont come! Anyway now been through Yellow pages and rang all the ones that were local and liked the sound of their name( how sad is that!) Although it is small, it sounds as tho` it will be quite expensive at just over £1000.....but it would be more than that if someone sued me for falling on the uneven crazy paving!

I loved the picture of that lovely dog and cant believe that people could be so cruel to chuck it over the wall- hope his legs are Ok.

    have a good w/e everyone

what an annoying end to a cruddy week.
Had planned lasagne for tea, veggie style made with beanfeast bolognase flavour. Well I cooked that up and bulked it up with loads of mushrooms, looked good but not like enough so added some frozen peas and corn, paniced that it didn't look lasagne-y enough now so added a tin of tomatoes...and the beanfeasty bits stuck to the bottom of the pan and now it's um...very very wet...I mean the "meaty" layers are mostly tomato juice and I'm annoyed and worried that it will taste horrid and my boyfriend wont like it and and and :(
    meh.

Just had an interview for a job starting in April, and I GOT IT!!!!! Woohoo! :j :j :j :j :j :j It's only for a term, but it's a nice school. I thought that I'd messed up the interview and the teaching bit, but they really liked it! :j :j :j :j :j Yes, I'm a teensy weensy bit excited!!!

Added to that, DH and I are going to London tomorrow as one of our Christmas presents from friends was entrance to Vinopolis - the lovely wine place! A big cause for celebration.

As a celebratory supper, we're having pasta with a stir through sauce (cheap from the cheapy shop near my parents :D) and I may well partake in half a glass of wine before heading down the A14 to our friends house in sunny Stowmarket. We're staying there as they live within walking distance of the station, so we will only have to roll up the hill tomorrow night! :D

I'll go and be excited elsewhere!

    Well done:):T

    Hello everyone!

    First things first...

Big hugs to.... Penny Pincher Groatie queen and Rage in eden

    Welcome to.... Immoral angelk

Charlies Mum that pup looks so adorable!

VickyA, that's great news about the job, I am waiting to hear about some potentials for after Easter, lets hope the good news continues!

dlb I'm sorry to hear about your Nan

If I've missed anyone I'm sorry, but there's loads of hugs and wishes to spare, as always.

I have been so shattered and drained today, very achy too so have taken it easy. I had my hair cut this morning, but won't take a pic of it til tomorrow when I have some energy to put some make up on, def have my Fibro-face on today! Chuffed with it though. Had my normal stylist, she really is lovely.

When I got back from the hairdressers there was a shredded toilet roll awaiting my return in the hallway... OH is off work today and not feeling 100%... he didn't realise that Dpup had stolen his nose-blowing loo roll and used it as a toy!

We tried to give Dpup a haircut today but he is too fast for us to pin down, managed to cut quite a bit off with scissors, so will use the timmers another time... looks much neater and less sheep-like now!

Am busy all weekend, I need to get up at 7am tomorrow as am out with the Guides. On my way I need to pick up some batteries for my camera as the rechargables have gone walkabout!! Then I'm working on Sunday.

Going to put the water on for our pasta now and unload and load the DW, unload the WM and clean the GFG! Get a few things done at a time, and put the DAB onto XFM and some wine in a glass and I'll be alright! I was hoping that we'd have a takeaway tonight but seeing as though I'll be busy the next couple of days, I can't really see how good for us 3 in a row would be!

Have a good Friday evening everyone and I might try and pop on here Sat and Sunday evenings xx

Hi everyone. Yay it's Friday! :j
    Immoral_AngelukWelcome!
VickyA Congratulations on the teaching post.
    dlb Sorry about your Grandmother.

W*** today and my class seemed much calmer, I think that the sunny weather helped.
I'm all showered and we've just eaten our hot takeaway curry (with a bottle of beer), so a real lazy night for me! I might even scoff some chocolate later. :D
    Have a good evening.
