    Morning,

Right well I read the letters/emails when OH got in last night.

The lies she has told her solicitors is beyond ridiculous, the letter starts off by accusing him of having her post redirected along with is and demanding that he returns them, i'm sure a solicitors would be aware that you need ID to set up a redirection....

Anyway OH really isn't in a good way at all, I spent 5 hours last night pulling apart the letter from her solicitors, and working out a contact schedule to include the current arrangements as is and then additional proposals for half term school holidays etc. I am going to write the email back to the solicitors once I have been through everything and proved her to be lying to her solicitors.

I am well aware of how much she is receiving weepingtree I went on to what was entitledto (cant remember what they have changed it to) and have printed it all out.
I have also done it on what she would receive if she was private renting.

The bankruptcy to get rid of the house isn't about revenge on her at all, there is also a DMP in place for her debts and joint/marital debts. This is currently being paid at £5 a month by OH whilst this is being sorted out however he now has creditors chasing him.

She is using the mortgage as her excuse for needing more of his money, however if the house wasn't there and she was privately renting that issue wouldn't be there.

I would love to be able to plead poverty and still get my hair and nails done, have new clothes every week and be in the pub every night that she doesn't have them.

We went and spoke to MIL last night and she is going to pay the solicitors bills and also the payment for bankruptcy. (If anyone can point me in the right direction that is also on my list of things to do today). So that is a weight off our mind we just need to be careful of the gift allowance for tax purposes :o

Did I say I had a cold the other day? Make that tonsillitis :( Oh well must carry on as normal!

Heard back from the solicitors about an hour ago they had received a letter from her solicitor advising that she has changed her mind about contact and she only wants him to have them for one weekend fri and sat nights every fortnight and that is it.

Also pleading poverty about how she needs more money, she has either lied about what he r income is to her solicitors or they have got it wrong. She is claiming that she is receiving £147 a month in income support......
Yet she is getting her hair and nails done, she is down the pub all the time i could carry on.

Along with a bill from the solicitors of £800 but for the past 2 months.

If he goes through the CSA now based on what she is saying he will have to pay the £400 anyway and she knows this.

This whole thing is going to bankrupt us the way it is going.

He did an SOA earlier and it worked out after he had paid her he had £328 a month. With £400 a month solicitor bills and set to get higher if he takes it to court. Looks like we are going to be up !!!!!! creek without a paddle.

try not to panic - I know easier said that done. You don't need to incur any more legal costs - you can do this yourselves.

Re: £147 in income support - does she have children under 5? income support has been stopped for single parents with children over the age of 5 which is why I ask. If she is receiving a reduced payment it might indicate that she has savings as between £6 - £16K, you can still claim but your benefit will be reduced.

Regardless, that's not important. Your OH is going to have to get a grip (I mean that in the nicest possible way!) and start fighting.

She has no savings, I think her solicitors have just got the figures wrong as its far from the only thing wrong in the letter. Youngest doesn't turn 5 until April.

After 26 pages of notes I have no finished going through the letter from her solicitors now need to add any points that he wants to bring up and rewrite it properly.

    [QUOTE=PrincessPlaty;54675633 2 children aged 4 and 7.

The children do not want to live with her the have told her this to her face on numerous occasions, when they are here they never want to go back to mummy to the extent they are locking themselves in the car so they don't have to get out and go in the house!

    :o[/QUOTE]

    How sad!

    :(
