Capital one purchase interest

Hi

i ususally pay off my credit card every month but last month i didn't i just payed the minimum payment but then this month i did pay the entire balance off. on the latest statement i've been charged a purchase interest only 4 pounds but i'm not sure why its appeared as i payed the entire balance. Is this what people call rollover interest where its interest from a previous month ? the actual amount that was owed was small less than 200 pounds.

You were charged interest on this month's balance as you didn't clear the previous month in full.

Once you have paid two consecutive statements in full, you will not be charged interest assuming you continue to pay in full each month.
