Anyone know how long you have to have left on your passport before you can't use it in the EU...ie, someone told me you need min 6mths left before it expires, so that you won't be stopped from boarding your flight!.

Ok the saving isnt huge on the adults but the childrens one is quite a difference and for those of us with more than one child needing a passport its a considerable saving!!
Dont get me wrong here im not being political or anything haha im just trying to save anyone from northern ireland looking for a passport a few pounds!!
Wow - the difference for kids is huge! I was going to get British passports for the kids but I'll get Irish now to save a few pounds. The British one used to be cheaper.Stercus accidit0 -
I currently have a British passport because it was cheaper at the time than an Irish passport, but have had an Irish passport in the past because of cost0
