my request was because making it a long day as there is 2 hours of travelling involved there and back.

Where do you live and work that a 30 mile commute takes two hours each way?

You could argue custom and practice, but essentially it's a manager who made a decision and another managing is reversing it. Even if you did argue it, they can give notice to change it back.

If I were you, I'd start looking closer to home. I work about two hours away for my employed role, and I had to take it down to three days a week (one of those at home) as the travel was so exhausting.
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

You are the only one to have their hours changed because you're the only one who was on abnormal hours.

And your new manager is not a bad manager - it is a manager who is enforcing working hours fairly. What you were allowed was not fair on other workers.

If the poor spelling and punctuation in your posts is anything to go by, I'd stay put if you're looking at more office work.

    Was this jibe really necessary?
