quick question: travel insurance

Hi all
im looking for 7 day travel insurance for my holiday to spain next week
question is when I was A CHILD (now 24) i had an inhaler for very very slight asthma ... never had an attack .....never even used the dam thing, think the doctor just fobbed me off really.
Anyway I take it i need to declare this 'asthma' as a 'pre existing medical' ? Its annoying cos it ups the policy by x3 and i havent had any problems for ten years!
if i didnt put it down and was admitted ot hospital for another UNRELATED issue would I be covered?:o:o - probably seems like a silly question.
Thanks all!
