Entitlement to sick pay?

I'm asking on behalf of someone else since I find it odd they do not get any sick pay what so ever. They are with an agency but work in an important job. I've tried to look on the internet but it's not clear whether someone is legally entitled to sick pay?

If they earn enough for NI contributions then they should at the very least get SSP If not then they should get a from from the employer saying why they aren't getting SSP which is used for claiming ESA.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I think they earn around 16k+...not entirely sure. Would have to ask them. As fr as I'm aware, they don't get any benefits (TC etc) at all. I noticed something on a ESA leaflet about sick pay but didn't really understand how it works.0

As I said you need to earn the amount that makes you liable for NI contributions to get SSP.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
