Hi guys,

I currently have a Nectar Credit Card but I am looking to change cards to give me better value for money.

I checked the MSE Reward Checker and I can see that BHS credit card gives you an equivalent of 1p per £1 spent.

I compared the other cards and it looks like BHS card gives you more bang for your buck for the same amount spent.

Does anyone know any other card which offers a better reward rate (I am flexible in actual reward given)

Capital one aspire card gives 5% for the first 3 months then 1.25% so gives 5p in every £1 then 1.25p in every £1.

But only on spending of more than £10k.

Only 0.5% for £0k to £6k which is a bit rubbish.

The new Aqua Reward card offers 3% (3p in every £1) on all spending. There is talk of the cashback offer being withdrawn at the end of July so better apply quick.

It all depends on what you use the rewards for as well though.

If you want pure cash then cashback cards etc may be the best option but if you fly a lot then things like the BA or VA cards can be good as their savings on flights/ upgrades can be greater of value to you than cashback is but then if you don't fly or only do short hall with EasyJet etc then you wont see the value of them

I find this card very good (if you're referring to the AmEx one). I get nectar points on every spend and 500 bonus points (£2.50 equivalent) when I spend £500 within one month. So far we put all household spend on it and have amassed about £60 in points which we use to shop for free at Sainsbury's.

    Not bad I think.

If you have AA membership, then the AA card basically gives you 4% on motoring purchases (such as fuel, MOT, servicing, tyres, etc) off your next years membership, and 2% on everything else.

Obviously don't take out the renewal when it arrives in 12 months, instead use Topcashback to signup as a new customer and then apply your discount via the AA rewards site.

If your not an AA member, its not worth it as you'll basically get 0.25% - 0.5% cashback. If you are and decide not to put it towards a new policy, you'll get between 0.5% and 1%.
