Good afternoon,
I have got a letter in regard to capital one saying that I have been 'pre-selected' for the card. How true is this due to my DRO 2 years ago?
I have been thinking about getting a card to try and rebuild my history. What are my chances of getting a card?

Unless there is a computer generated scoring system just joined the forum it's anyone's guess.0

They can still decline you however I received a solar letter from Aqua a few months after them rejected me and I got accepted. This was with 3.5-4 yr old defaults, not repaid.
Try Moneysupermarket's smart search as Vanquis/Aqua may come up with a higher chance of approval. 1 credit search isn't going to harm you much...just don't do loads.
