Our new doggy

Thought I would introduce you to Molly (my avi photo) we got her in march from the sspca, she is a 2yr old cairn and just the cutest wee doggy ever. She was very skittish and nervy to begin with but we are gradually getting her to find her natural terrier instincts. We had to have our last dog put down in december as his liver failed. I had not gone in to the sspca looking for a dog I actually was taking in some of truffs old tin food and syringes and insulin to see if they could use any of it, I was talking to the lady and she asked what dog was it we had and I said 'a wee cairn' and she said 'you wont believe this, we never get cairns in but yesterday a wee cairn came in we haven't even processed her yet, would you like to see her?' and out came Molly, she was full of knots and so scared she wet her self and would not stop shaking the old dog that came in with her was put to sleep that morning so she was all alone. I know a few people on here have lost dogs recently and are wondering when is the right time to get another one I think you just know when the time is right and sometimes like in my case you are not looking but if 'your dog' is out there they will find you. :)
