Quidco Cashback & Home Insurance

About to renew home insurance and just wondered if anybody has tried taking out seperate policies for buildings and contents in order to maximise cashback ?

Interested to know if the insurers will still pay out on this or maybe reduce payout. Might have a try with the quotes and perhaps different companies.

  • Yes. Many people have done this and yes quidco (or the actual company) have paid out on two seperate policies.

There are many threads on the board commenting on this.
  • I did both through Quidco but only Barclays tracked. No sign of Lloyds TSB

Keep an eye on the lloyds one...... I took out two with them last summer and lost the £250 cashback as i didnt check the tracking!! My fault totally! After 3 months thysey wont entertain looking into it.

Just took out another policy with them and that didnt get tracked either... I've chased that one up.

A friend has taken two policies out via quidco and his never got tracked either! He is chasing them too.

    Keep at em.
