HELP!!! Temp car cover

Morning all

Does anyone!! Know of an insurance company that will give Temp cover to a driver that was banned cause of a TT99 over two years ago??

Don't care about price just need the cover.

Any help would be great.

You will have to google temporary car Insurance and then make enquiries with companies. Very unlikely that you will get a response to your question.

Try Acorn Insurance or Adrian Flux.

Think there would more chance of the GB team winning more Olympic gold medal, than then USA team.

Hi - I've been looking at quotes for someone who has a TT99
Received TT99 in June 2011 got fine and served 6 month ban so retook test.

Do you use the date you first passed your test or the date you recently re-passed the test?

DVLA said just to declare TT99 no need to say what lead up to it.

However Ive read conflicting reports on here which state that you dont have to declare a TT99 just the individual offences leading up to it

? I am going with what DVLA said for now for purpose of quote but unsure if you use the date you passed first time round or the new date after retaking the test?

You need to declare whatever the insurance company ask for.

If they want to know your sock size and how you perform in bed, You either answer them or go elsewhere to a company that wont ask that.

the DVLA wont know what they do or dont want.

The date you passed your test for the current licence, So the latest one you passed.

Some people come on here and complain about their insurer asking for a copy of their licence. I had a company do this many many years ago and thought nothing of it i had nothing to hide.

Nobody has asked since though. But its not a problem if they do.
