Afternoon all,
Thankyou so much for the advice. I woke up this morning convinced I am doing the right thing by leaving. I have tried to address the security issues before and to be honest although promises were made nothing changed. I care too much about myself and my family to put myself in that position. So I have just sent an email to say I won't be returning and feel a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
It's a glorious day here today not a cloud in the sky. Have been to visit my BF with a Birthday Present and sat in the garden for a catch up which was lovely.
DH is watching the golf and although I don't mind watching some I will pop in and out today. Dinner will be a chicken curry although might turn it into a chicken salad.
Having a big sort out of my clothes now I have lost some weight and have a pile ready for ebaying tomorrow.
I also need to visit the loft and have a big sort out. Hopefully we will get an offer soon and it will be easier if I've already done some sorting out.
PP Big Hugs, Bitsy hope the cold doesn't linger. I'm lucky that I only ever seem to have a cold a few days but always leaves me with sinus problems.
I'm still limping so will definitely give the doctor a ring in the morning.

Late post from me, I've spent most of the last 2 days pottering gently, interspersed with lots of naps, I'm beginning to feel better now, even more so as hubby has been home today as well. We've harvested 14 k of spuds & other veg too. We had chicken & new potatoes at 4ish & we're relaxing in front of the TV.
Have a good evening everybody.
Hugs Hester

Looks like everyone has been out enjoying the sun today. I spent approx 7 hours sunning myself in the garden whilst listening to the radio and reading my Kindle. Bliss
OS wise - 3 x loads in WM done and dried, hoovered throughout, tea was veggie hotdogs in rolls - both from the freezer, recycling sorted and out to be collected tomorrow.

Lovely day here so have done 3 loads of washing.
OH and I had a nice trip this afternoon to a small lavender farm near Bath. A couple of fields of the most amazing colour and you could hear the bees buzzing.....
We had a snack and sampled the lavender ice -cream. Really it would have been rude not to..OH bought a lavender plant.
Home again and I made some of De**a's apricot chutney as we are on our last jar of her Christmas chutney shock horror! Can never get away with shop bought sweet pickle now! I started to make my own as DH's fave chutney reached more than £3 a jar-and we haven't looked back. Probably easier than jam as you don't need to get it to a setting point. I did make some strawberry jam last week and it was a struggle to set even with lemon juice. Then I remembered I had pectin in as I am going to make some grape jelly as per memorygirl's recipe. so I put that in and Bob's your uncle....!
Tea was whoopsied cold chicken and salad with a baked potato, followed by whoopsied bakewell tart and whoopsied cream. Thanks Mr M!
Lovely day!
Well hugs and kind words to all and have a lovely evening.
