Speedferries - anyone else angry!!

I booked the 11 o'clock ferry to Boulogne to travel on 26/5/07 back on 10/12/06. Apparently the sailing times have changed and are now 20 minutes earlier - so logically you would think I would be transferred to the 10.40 sailing - not so we are now on the 14.20 which we were advised of by e-mail last night. We have been in touch but apparently the 10.40 is full - how can this be? Anyone else been messed around like this and is there anything you can do about it?:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

To be honest, no. Our original departure time was 1200 and this has been pushed back to 1420 but for the price we paid for the crossing I can't complain about the departure being pushed back 2 hours.

They only have one ferry dont they? You should see what happens with some airlines. Departures changed by 12 hours which means wiork commitments have to be changed etc.

I wouldn't be too bothered either normally however as it has been pushed back by over 3 hours and with France being an hour ahead it means we won't arrive in Boulogne until around 16.30 local time and as we have a 3.5 hours drive the other side with 2 young children it isn't exactly ideal.
In answer to satan666wayne - no time machine just a badly worded post - I booked in dec 06 to travel in may 07 and 3.5 months later they tell me the ferry is full !!
