When you comp by both end date and newest post and you have multiple tabs on your browser open and instead of shutting the laptop down, tell your OH to use the desktop instead because you can't lose your spots and actually put the laptop to sleep so it remembers everything you're on when you switch it back on :rotfl:

I can't be the only one to do this surely? (It saves loads of time instead of waiting for the whole thing to boot up. 5 seconds and I'm back where I was when I left off!!)
Back to comping after a 3-year hiatus :j

Ha ha, new to comping (since May, but properly since June). One win so far (purple cat toy), but hoping for a bigger win soon :)
I already have a spreadsheet with several tabs - regular comps, tv comps, magazine comps, organised by date and with how many times I entered so I don't submit too many entries... My OH is currently nagging to go out and enjoy the sunshine but I'm too busy entering comps in my pyjamas!

I have a spreadsheet too, but mine is just all comps going by end date. I have different tabs for each month and a tab just for stats that show how many Ive entered, what Ive won and value, how many end in each month. I email it to myself everyday too :o I like to know where I am, I know I should prob have a separate tab for dailies, but Im still getting to grips with the whole comping thing.

...when your late to a social gathering - hair dryer in one hand comping with the other..(if you let yourself attend a social gathering) and when bedtime comes you say you have to just finish this one..and enter a few hundred more.
