Central Heating Boiler

Hi,
We have an open vented boiler system (boiler, hot water cylinder in airing cupboard and water and header tank in the loft). Its serviced every year and never had any problems with it. We are trying to sell our home and every person viewing asks if its a combi boiler. You can see their face drop when we say its not. Is a combi better in some way?
Many Thanks
Mike

Not really. A combi boiler provides mains pressure hot water which can give a better shower. However they're usually slower at filling baths.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Thanks for the reply. We have an electric shower that has great pressure and the hot water out the taps is great pressure as well.
Interested to hear other peoples comments..0 -
It's probably the thought that the potential buyer might have to fork out a few thousand pounds in the possible near future because what is seen as an old, almost defunct system might be nearing the end of its life.0

They may be confused and actually mean to ask if it is a modern condensing boiler.
The majority of the public get this terminology wrong.0
