Philfy79, there are plenty of other vehicle finance brokers who wont charge you any upfront fee...

If you were out the country for 6 years, then all the adverse from before that time should no longer show on your credit file.

Are you on the electoral role? Have you applied for an initial/credit builder credit card? If you haven't done either of these, get onto it ASAP.

In terms of guaranteed finance, the only companies that offer that type of facility, offer it on over priced cars, with big deposits and very high rates, often putting a payment immobiliser on the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply Sean, I'd picked out getmecarfinance as they were the only one I found offering the facility of purchasing a car from any dealer. I am fully aware of the ACF's and Fowlers finance's of this world who have a stock of crap high milage cars that nobody wants.

Whilst I obviously don't want to, I am happy to pay over the odds and have the "imobiliser box" but only for a car I actually want - I wont be buying a 120k bog standard mondeo for 9k just coz the number plate has "59" in it :)

    Hi,

I have bad credit and applied for car finance through Get Me Car Finance and they want a £25 processing fee - now this of course sets alarm bells running so instead of paying I thought I would google but have found NO information regarding people being conned or scammed

Has anyone had any experience with this company or know anything?

    Thanks Si[/

I have been 'testing' this company as a friend wanted to use the. Out of curiosity, I paid the £25. Surprise surprise I never heard from them again. I have repeatedly requested a breakdown of the activities and efforts they have completed once they took receipt of my £25, and have not heard a thing. My advise would be to look elsewhere as they have no intention of providing a service. Just looking for many thousands of people to pay £25 for doing absolutely nothing. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

  • The facts ... its a payasyougo car scheme ... now the reality for those with bad credit

Deposit 33% ... cheapest car on their books is £3000 so thats a £1,000 deposit
Interest rate 99% apr yes that is not a typo you did read it right
    Term 24 months

you only get all this info though AFTER paying the £25 ... so be warned

Well if you are talking about an online deal please stop it. I suggest for you to go to a finance company in your local area and to discuss terms. After all you can't deal with someone unless you are at least aware of their original lactation. And it should be in a close distance.

I concur; lactation is always very important when buying a car.

My car doesn't have a lactator, is it still safe to drive?
