Hi L33na,
The info on the back of my Maltesers bag doesn't mention how the tickets will be sent. You need to register 4 codes online at www.sweetsundays.co.uk but I don't know whether the ticket will then be posted to you or whether it'll be a printable voucher. I'll get back to you about that once the website is activated on Thurs.
It doesn't look like the ticket is going to be valid for the 4th of Aug (a Saturday) when you want to go - seems to be for Sundays only, unfortunately.
Don't know yet if there will be time restrictions on the Sundays or if it'll be valid all day.
Not sure if kids can use the ticket - "Open to UK and CI residents aged 16+ only" but I don't know if that refers to the person who is applying for the tickets, or the person who will be using the tickets.
Sorry to be soooo hazy with the answers, hopefully I'll know more on Thurs!0 -
regarding claiming your tickets
you have the option of an e-code via email or a paper ticket ??? via the post
The e-code is not actually a ticket - its just a code that you then have to use when making an online booking at www.cineworld.co.uk
Not sure about the paper version i.e. if its actually a paper voucher you can take to the cinema or just the same code sent on a piece of paper0 -

Hello again L33na,
The promo website's up and running now, so just to recap:
As per Inigo's post above, for Cineworld you have the option of either an e-code for online ticket booking or a postal voucher. For the other cinemas it's a postal voucher only.
Definitley Sundays only but no time restrictions as far as I can see.
"Offer open to UK and Channel Island residents aged 16 and over only" so I'm not sure if kids could use an adult ticket or not - hopefully someone else will come along and confirm this for you.0 -
I registered and banked all my 8 codes last week, since I could not decide a date and which cinema to go then, I didnt claim the tickets straight away. I tried to log in again this evening, with the absolutely right email that I registered and the absolutely right password, I failed to log in again!! I tried in different computers for several times, still failed.
I would like to know if anyone experienced this?
I hope that its only because it's a saturday night so the website might possibly be overloading.. I had sent an email via "contact us" and awaiting for their reply.0 -
Welcome to the MSE forum, Wendy.
I've already redeemed my two tickets but I tried logging in just now to test it and encountered the same problem - "Login error: Sorry - e-mail or password not recognised." This happened in both IE9 and Chrome.
Not good, esp if people are wanting to book an online cinema ticket for today
Hope it gets fixed soon.
UPDATE: login is working again (Sun 9th Sept 18.50)0 -
Oh dear hope it gets fixed. Was just going to add that at my local Tescos Metro all these bags are reduced from 2quid each to 1. Meaning you're only spending 4quid a ticket. Which sounds good to me.0

Reminder:
Promotion ends 23/12/2012 - don't forget to redeem your codes and claim your vouchers if you haven't already!
Vouchers must then be exchanged for cinema tickets by 13/01/2013.0 -
Sweet Sundays Maltesers packets plentiful in Poundland, Birmingham (above New Street Station). Better value than a box.0

anyone have a spare code? Can't find my 4th pack and got to do it by end of today (Sun 23rd).0
