To add to what others have said, you might not have much money right now, but you do have time. At some point you might end up with not enough time (working all hours, kids, mortgage to pay, etc) so you could think of time as something that's worth using wisely as well as money.

So you could do some reading on how to manage money when you have some. Doesn't have to be books, could be websites etc. For example, how pensions are really important and how it makes all the difference to start early as possible. The 'miracle of compound interest' (and, going the other way, how debts and charges can really eat into your capital). How to think about risk. How to decide what's a good investment and what isn't. On a more technical level, what the different types of assets and investment classes are, and what to use when. Tax efficiency. Maybe start a virtual portfolio, so that you have a few years experience by the time you actually have some real cash to risk.

And, at the end of it all, how not to get too focused on the money but how to make it support the kind of life you want.

Sounds basic stuff, but when it comes to the day when you get a job paying you tens of thousands of pounds, it pays to be prepared.

Which company did you start with first innovate

T'was very different back then - Corals did a very easy £10 then. Their offer is quite different now - quite a bit better, but not for beginners. Best nowadays to start with is probably Totesport - - but I have been out of it for a long time now, so better ask over there. There is a brilliant community of helpers at hand (use the "Newbie" sticky for Qs).

There is always the chance of Agent Millions coming knocking or winning one of the smaller prices in 10 years, which is probably what it would take to earn £25 in interest on your £100. ;)

How much have you won with your £1,125? The only way to really make money off them is to have alot of money invested lol.

2 x £25 and held the majority of them for 18 months so probably above average.

£100 can still win the top prize, but yes the more invested the better your chances.

£50 in 18 months works out around 3% interest (if held from day 1). But I guess premium bonds are more "fun" (through lack of a better word at 9am ;) ) like winning :)

@OP- Nothing really (aside from the gambling freebies) will get instant cash in 2 months. Have you tried buying and selling? Thats all I can think of

£100 is just enough to buy Premium Bonds. 2 months is just long enough to be in for one draw .... and win £1million, or your money back.

Isn't it only full months that count? So 2 months might only mean one month in the draw and lots of waiting to get money. It doesnt really seem worth it for the very remote chance of winning anything.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
