Terribly Disappointed

As I have access to a number of commercial vehicles I am often asked by friends to help move larger items.

Well today I was asked at short notice to help move all the worldly possessions of a young guy who had been made redundant and was also losing his flat that came with the job.

Poor access meant the only place to park was in a small carpark behind the building he lived in. Imagine my joy at seeimg signs indicating the carpark was infested by Euro Carparks. :p

Well, being in one of our extra long wheelbase vans the driver had to park out of a designated bay, but made sure the van wasn't causing an obstruction. We also made sure there were no signs mentioning clamping and began loading the van.

We must have made 30 or 40 trips between the flat and the van during the 2 hours we were there. Each time I checked the windscreen to see if a Euro Carparks parasite had put a ticket on the van and each time I was greeted by a clear screen.

I'm very disappointed.... :(

My only hope now is that a Euro Carparks parasite did ticket the van but it was stolen before I got back. At least that way they'll waste an extra £2.50 buying my details from the DVLA....

You could always write to them and admit your flagrant misuse of the car park, and ask for an invoice to be sent, if you send photos as well that will help the greatly :)
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Good idea. It got me thinking, I'm going to cut out the middle man and get my own PPC PCN/ Debt Collector/ Solicitor letter dispenser.

Once installed it will look like this:

I'll take the appropriate action and flush as necessary.

Since I stuck one of my tickets on my local euro car prats muppets car he always ignores my car, we have a laugh when we see each other but he's never ticketed me :(

I miss seeing the Euro Car Parks muppet in the local Sainsburys, so do the staff as the manager of the store made him collect trolleys.
