Dear friends,
How quickly life can change. I've been planning to come on here all day and tell you how pleased I was with mine and DH's petrol savings this week, and respond to Locarr's kind enquiry about our village celebrations and post some pictures. Life's been ok for the last couple of days and I was feeling happy and optimistic.
And then I just logged on to teletext to catch up with the news, and in the local news was a story about a young man who'd died in a motorcycle accident on Monday, and the name was familiar. And then I realised that 2 days before he died, last Saturday, I'd married him and his lovely bride at a local venue, and that he was a particularly nice young man, who'd thanked both me and my colleague by name, and I'd got all the guests to stand up at the end of the ceremony and congratulate the new Mr and Mrs X. And now I'm sitting here crying at the sheer futility of it all. What a terrible waste.
A really sad story. Unfortunately sometimes life throws these things in and due to a lack of concentration, a young life is lost. Best wishes to all their family and the young bride who no doubt is distraught.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Tesco Hi Mark,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us about this.
I have checked on this for you and can confirm that you can only receive a coupon for one per transaction. You can mix and match the different products but would only receive one coupon for cereals if that is all you buy.
I hope that makes sense.
Kind regards

I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
re looby's experience-perhaps those criticising leenie a day or two ago can now understand the paranoia of getting trouted:(
edit me thinks asda may be feeling like there is a "cottage industry" of savvy shoppers after their profits, after the dom jolly glitch, muller and pop glitches , however we are doing legitimate shops, do they expect all their customers to be braindead clueless shoppers who don't research their shopping before writing their list?
I suspect it was the large vouchers and the similar shops each time that drew attention

With Tesco there is a clause about the "spirit of the promotion". With the ASDA one there isn't. I would take this all the way. You want a written apology from ASDA or will be going to the press. I really would go for the kill. :rotfl:
I'm purposefully going to target a £50 voucher tomorrow and then sock it to the fookers should the challenge me. Ultimately we must all remember though that if they do choose to not honour, then our only recourse is trading standards.

glad i'm on your side:A:A:A:AIf you claim to be the cheapest, call me old fashioned, but it helps to really be the cheapest,

Diet seems to have met a brick wall at the moment. Weight seems fairly static now but I'd like to lose a bit more yet. Still, slowly slowly is the best way I guess.
I'm intrigued to know if my cholesterol has come down and if so by how much. Might book an appointment in a couple of weeks and see.
Sorry FK, I must have missed some of them. They look good as always. You have made some really good changes like doing your spuds with benecol and baking your mushies
I think the drink is not helping;) It contains more calories than fat gram per gram
Did you try the oatbran I suggested?
