Nothing to do with shopping/coupons etc but I don't know where to ask this! Can someone please tell me why the Olympic announcements are made FIRST in French and then in English? I was confused when watching the opening ceremony but now they are doing it for the event announcements.

Could someone please confirm if there is a maximum amount on an APG?

I kept my shop to 8 bottles of fanta/sprite and 2 packs of tea, but not sure of the max APG?

No max per APG mentioned just this

20.The number of claims is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.

No maximum in an individual voucher, just a £100 cap per household per calendar month.

Also there's a maximum of 10 of each item in a shop for it to compare. Ie; 10 bottles of Fanta, 10 bottles of Fanta zero and so forth ;)

*Just to say I haven't bought one bottle of any of these yet :o:rotfl: Though I have a nice little supply of Pepsi, still wish I had more though :rotfl:*

Because French is the official Olympic language. Announcements are always in French first and host country's language next.

  • HI. Not posted for a while due to working away.i have been lurking for the last week or so.got a pp back today for pork ,so again today went for some more using a £6.56 pp, sa looked at it ,looked at me ,looked at it again :eek:and said I will have to check this pp .People behind me in the queue grunting and muttering .Off she goes comes back no pp someone else has to check, minutes pass ,my face is glowing red with embarassment:mad:.at long last another supervisor returns "its a good one its OK":T.The sa then apologises and goes on to tell me that Tesco are CLAMPING down on pps due to misuse,I for one hope that these people who have no excuse for this fraudulent behaviour other than personal GREED get what they deserve before a good thing is again spoiled for everyone .Thanks
