Of course;) Although so far today work has consisted of posting a pile of letters and yesterdays work was ordering new work uniforms, doing some letters and then a pile of ironing;)
Ditto, except the uniforms but did get workwear. The VAT really needs the attention at the moment.
Feeling virtuous, I had finished the ironing by 7 this morning:j:j:j0 -

For someone to throw their toys out of the pram, however, and quit the quiz, well to be fair come on, really?! Nose-spite-face springs to mind. Jeez it's a bloody online quiz not Mastermind. To turn back now I realise would be loosing face, and so said poster won't, but we really should be more thick-skinned on this thread and to take things as intended
Disclaimer - If this wasn't aimed at me, apologies!
It really isn't like that at all - things in life are rarely so black and white. There is often some history swirling around and for that reason it is sometimes a good thing not to wade in too sharply. What to some is plain speaking may be received as aggression by others and so forth - not every one finds it easy or wants to be "thick-skinned". We seem to have lost a rather lovely, gentle and inspiring contributor and I for one am a bit saddened by that.0 -
Was told by CS on the phone that there is nothing they can do about nothing comparing with Morrisons on one of my receipts , funny how everything compared when T's was cheaper :mad::mad:
The Mrs told me to print as many coupons as possible and God help any SA that questions them :rotfl:

Everyone has a history, but for a contributor to assume they know another's is a little, well, nonsensical. If I make a joke about a trout, hell, someone may love trout fishing and be rather fond of a special trout they had that dies when they were young. How am I supposed to know this? I'm not, and hence a joke is funny to those who find it funny, and to those that don't, my thick-skinned comment comes in.
On one hand I feel regret that my actions have caused upset, and for that I'm sorry, but on the other I'm offended too by some of the accusations that fly my way RE: Mr T. I'm still here though!
We should definitely all try to get along, but quitting a forum or quiz or anything isn't a sure-fire way to achieve that. Talking generally is. :AI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
