Would you be better off getting rid of the meter? Fortunately we're on rateable value and it's a real winner.

Get the pork whilst it is still on. This will provide cheap good quality meat for ages. We have 4 freezer drawers full of it. :A

When I found this one, she have put 'commission on sales -gladly accepted' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I will not ask how big your drawers are! Still one good turn deserves another - thanks for yours.

Wondered where you got your wily ways from.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If you are not a bbq snob (ie will only use Weber etc;)) Mr S has reduced his implements to about £2 each. The long tongs are retractable (same as Weber) and not bad. Ditto the long handled cleaning brush.
:p:p:p:p:p:p:p Will have a look, think the bbq tools will have to go away for a while, I'm thinking it was probably the meat smell it was after because we had a bbq last night, It's one of the big bbq's with a lid on so it couldnt get right into it:)But Mrlala has it set up like a flipping kitchen with all his bits hanging everywhere;):rotfl::rotfl:

We live In a new build and the meter is compulsory :(

I don't mind paying for what we actually use but when you have to give one child many extra showers and wash their clothing and bedding more often, it's all adding up

Pork still on? Might get that today and cereal on the weekend.

  • Afternoon all! Glad to receive another good PP for more pork and Lake District Cheddar that I bought yesterday.

Just a quick question though, does anyone know whether the £100 per household is related to the Clubcard number you put in or the email address? Also, when does a new month start? Would it be from the 1st do you think? TIA:)

I'd been buying them through the till and had no problem even when the computer said no last week. The Supervisor was called and he overrode the till with a smile.
Did it with seven yesterday through a SS till and that was really easy. SA came across as she needed to authorise the beers anyway, asked how many beers, I told her how many coupons and she put them through as one total. :)
She then left me to pay and didn't even see that I'd been given a brand match :):)

Living about 15 miles from the nearest Mr S that stocks the beer, I've not found any yet. Then happened to be in the area yesterday and lo and behold, 8 packs!!! They were priced at £2 though. I rushed 7 to the till with a £6 top that won't fit, only to be told 'only 1 coupon per transaction' by the till.

I paid and went to CS, the lad asked an old trout, who was also unsure and phoned the manager. Turns out a memo had been sent and they are now only accepting one moc per transaction. She showed me the memo- something along these lines:
    'Dear Colleagues
Please note that in future only one money-off voucher will be accepted per transaction. A customer has been caught (
:mad:) buying 6 of an item, using multiple vouchers against it and then receiving a £10 BrandMatch voucher. .....etc etc'

So I just returned the beers. Was in a rush for time, otherwise I'd have bought them back in seperate transactions as already had a BM in my pocket for 3.50 ;) ...ah well, hubby's better off without them anyway :o:p

I just wonder if this will be the rule for all coupons at Mr S now...

Apologies....forgot to say good morning everyone.

I'm sorry you have decided to stop doing the quiz Ceriain, anyone who has tried it knows that eveyone gets different questions and there is no way to improve your time other than practice and very good speed reading and reaction times.
Oh, knowing the answers helps too :rotfl:

The person who had the gall to suggest s/he is a cheat should apologise considering the amount of somewhat questionable practices they employ at T's checkout....

are people using both febreze mocs from the car booklet on one item?
