Morning all.
Thanks for the support messages. I seem to be keeping busy and getting through the days, but having weird dreams about dad at night.
Going on holiday tomorrow. Delayed because of what happened, don't really feel like going but this is the last chance to get away for the Summer as we have other commitments later in the month.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Can I ask what you are using for the mushroom sauce please? Homemade of possibly Campbells condensed?
Yes. I fry up some shallots and a small amount of garlic with some thinly sliced carrots. When it all has softened I add the condensed soup and a splash of water, add some mixed herbs, pepper, a tiny bit of chilli powder and stir. The pork goes in a dish with sliced mushrooms sprinkled liberally over the pork, add the sauce and shove in the oven. It's delicious and versatile cos you can have it as a traditional dinner with potatoes and veg, or you can add it to cooked pasta or have it with rice. I make a big batch so I can get more meals from it. It also works with chicken.
Lamb steaks are lovely if you use asparagus soup and add a bit of mint, and beef works with the condensed tomato and more chilli. I add peppers to the beef version.
All versions make quick, easy and, if you use whoopsied meat, cheap meals for a family.:D HTHSealed Pot Challenge No 9 516 target £250

These single packs of tissues are in my Ts, a carton on every checkout, with 40p printed on the carton. Some of these 40p signs have had stickers placed over them but not all of them and the now scan at 55p. 10p a pack after DTD.
You pay 55p. DTD is 30p. Overall cost after DTD is 25p, not 10p.
It's only a game
