Maybe a good one for a APG

Tilda Basmati & Wild Rice (500g)
    £2 BOGOF in Tesco
    £2.70 each in Asda

can someone please work the maths out for this one as we use lots of rice and may be worth my while using up some APG and stocking up on this one.
    TIA

Just an update for the newbies - Everyone has different questions.
Also if you play regularly you will get questions you have answered before & you learn to skip read them, thus improving your time.
Also if an answer offered is 'all of these' = pick it ;)

  • Just Got better then DTD on the wine
Brought 12 bottles all but 8 priced at £4.99. 1 priced at £8.99 and 3 priced at £4.49.
Sa chucked 3 of them through for the £8.99 one and 25% did not come off.
Went to CS who completely mucked up refund with compliance manager with her and got refunded a £32 for the 2 bottles going through higher and then a £25 for the 25% coming off. So only paid £11 ish for everything

I wombled one like this last week. Any club card works.

Thanks for that:D I'll input it now.
By the way, there were lots of the sign up for club card leaflets with temp cards in store yesterday. Hadn't seen any for a while. (May be handy as another way to prevent T linking CC with email addy ;)
Sorry all, how rude of me. Second post and I've not yet said Good Morning :o So a very good morning to you all. It's a beautiful sunny one here. Definitely no shopping for me today. I'm opting for a tidy up the garden day, followed by cooking. Butternut squash and carrot soup, a pasta dish for DS1's gf, pork steaks in mushroom sauce, an apple sponge for pudding, a cake, some biscuits and whatever else I can think of. I'll go through the stash for inspiration. I need to keep busy as I woke up with a horrible feeling of trepidation, which isn't like me. You must know it 'the feeling that something awful is going to happen'.
FK, that was a marathon session last night. Your late dinner looked really tasty.
3Dogs thinking of you and sending hugs.
I'm off now to make the beds and tidy up. Will lurk to keep up tho, as I don't want to miss anything.

Last week I went to Sainsbobs for the lager, was told I could only use 1 coupon so tried at CS. They let me use the 7 coupons at CS but I didn't get a BM voucher.
I emailed sainsburys to say it was cheaper at T's and that I didn't receive a BM and have just received a response.

Thanks for your email. I'm sorry that you didn’t receive a Brand Match coupon on your recent visit to our store. I can understand your disappointment especially as you know the beer you bought was cheaper in Tesco.
I've checked my system and can confirm that, on this occasion, your branded shopping would have been £10 cheaper in Tesco and the same price in Asda. You should have received a coupon for this value at the checkout.
Your shop was processed at a checkout which is excluded from Brand Match this is why you did not receive a coupon.
I've posted you a gift card for the value of £15. This is to make up for the coupon you should have received and a little extra for the inconvenience.

Can I ask what you are using for the mushroom sauce please? Homemade of possibly Campbells condensed?
