I always used to follow the rule of detergent costing no more than 5p a wash....it's had to go up but I still baulk (good word eh?) at paying as much as 10p!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Hi, its been a while since I posted on here like!, been busy lately!

Just a quick question, why does it ask for clubcard number when inputting details about a price check now on the T website? What if one was to womble a receipt to see if can get a voucher from it when a different number to my own has claimed the points?
Would it be ok for me to put my own cc number even though the receipt says a different one? has anyone tried this like?

Also, did anyone get a voucher booklet from T's in the post a few weeks back?-I got mine on my birthday! Them vouchers'll be put to gooood use!

    £7.49 @ Tesco
    £5.00 @ Asda
    £4.78 @ Sainbobs until (31/07)
This is the cheapest way that I can see to get 10p off per litre, price check against sainbobs for you price promise. Fill the rest with 7 Tesco value products.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Morries often have their own laundry liquid on offer at half price. I think the last time it was about £1.60 for 28 washes.
They do the three varieties too (Bio, non bio and colour) and it's good stuff.
I usually buy enough to last me a few months.
For loo rolls I always make a special trip to Farmfoods and buy 13 packs at a time for £26 (so I can use a £2.50 off voucher)
    It's called Nicky and it's 9 rolls £2.50 or 2 for £4.
Really good loo roll, I think it's on a par with the expensive stuff

That's a good price for laundry liquid. Thanks, I'll take a look when I'm next in M's. I bought that cheap liquid from T a few months ago. I think it was £1 for 20 washes. It was useless, I may as well have added a capfull of water into the washing powder drawer!

We buy Nicky loo roll too. We get ours from Home Bargains - 16 rolls for three pounds something.

Here are the products to get 50p off a litre of petrol at Tesco.

    http:// www.tesco plc.com/index.asp?pageid=17&newsid=660

Sorry if already been posted. :)

Can't find some of these products on Asda though. I have broken the link so we don't become found.
    • Buy any two selected Andrex Toilet Roll 9 pack for £10 (Sainsbob £4.65, £2 A's) However showing as OOS on MS. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=andrex
    • Buy any two selected Robinsons Double Concentrate 1.75l for £7 (Sainsbob £2, £3.65 A)
    • Buy any four selected Heinz products (choice of mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, salad cream, baked beans) for £9 (Hard to compare as can not tell what products will be )
    • Buy Nescafe Original 300g for £7 or Gold Blend 300g for £8 (Sainsbob £4.78, A's £5)
    • Buy Fairy Non-Bio Powder 72 Wash 5.75kg (£14) (Sainsbob £20. Can't find on Asda)
Thanks for the early info. Tesco really are scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to get us to buy at their inflated prices. I'd need a much bigger tank to make that little lot worthwhile. Asda and Sainsbury seem a better bet overall at the moment - quicker too with their price matches.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Mostly I agree with you. But where I live, people can really be that stupid

My MIL seems to fall for what would be a bargain. They told me yesterday that they should have seperated their shopping in morries to get two petrol vouchers as they had spent £140 for the two of them and FIL works away all week :eek:

When I said I would struggle to spend enough for the petrol voucher she asked how do we eat. I said very well thankyou !! (im not a slim girl by any means )

Talking about laundry products, does anyone here use the bottles of washing liquid?
I normally use liquitabs but my stock has run out since the last price flop that was used with the tesco laundry products.
Was looking on T's last night and noticed the liquid bottles were working out around 5p a wash...so just wondered if it is any good?

    Liquid is my favourite :)
Which were 5p in T's....was it that Enrituals stuff?
    If so, it's rubbish IMO

Do you mean like the liquid gel? I use them and don't gave any probs with them. I use the ariel ones. Always get more out of them than they say; using half the recommended dosage is fine and still does the exact same job

I used to use the tabs until I noticed that the wrapper bit didn't completely dissolve. I always used to end up doing the same washing again

Since looking to spend around £5 in Sainsbobs to make up the £20 conditional spend when buying the shandy, I've stocked up on coffee.
They do their own Gold Blend equivilent 200g for £2.45. Really nice coffee :)
