  • Evening all, had to skip most of the pages, theres too many to ctch up on. Did manage to get some of the t bags & some boots sun cream.
    Not having a very good time at the moment, took oh to the hospital for his foot redressed and the gangrene in his foot has got a lot worse, they are talking about ampuating the leg but have said they'll wait until we come back off our holiday (18th august) because it's the 1st holiday we've had in 6 years and will be our last if they do amputate.
    He learnt to walk with 1 false leg although quite wobbly but I don't think he'll manage with 2 false legs.
    I thought once he's had his transplant everything would be great but they just seem to be getting worse again.

    10% comes off the competitor price so it a product was £5 in A and £4 in T they would give you £1.40 back the difference plus the 10% to make them 10% cheaper. That an ideal price check but don't forget to add the other product to bring to to 8 products. I know you know that but it helped to just explain it on a single product.
    Thanks for that, I was overthinking it... The velvet 4 pack t-roll will work out about £1.30 to pay after APG/10%/MOC. Not too bad if you need to top up your shop I suppose..

    Evening everyone

    A big congratulations to Rosie76 :beer::beer::beer:

    Went to T after work to double up a £5.00 clubcard voucher to a £10.00 frozen food voucher.

    The SA on customer service desk tried to give me a trouting. Conversation went like this

    Me: Can i please double up my clubcard vouch er to a £10.00 frozen food voucher
    SA; Show me where it say you can double up for frozen food
    Me: (Pointing to the chart stuck onto the counter in front of SA stating what vouchers you can double up for) Uh there
    SA: Muttered something to other SA about being so busy that she had not had chance to read the new offers

    Exit: 1 SA with a very red face and me trying my best not to laugh

    priceless :D

    Big hugs - hope you can try to put this behind you and enjoy your holiday.

    Know to a certain extent how you feel - OH had (hopefully not has!!) osteomyelytis in his ankle, and every time it blew up (almost literally!!) they threatened to amputate below the knee. Fortunately now they think they have removed the infection from the bone and he is soon to finish a 12 week course of extremely strong antibiotics,

    We can only hope that you get better news when you come back off holiday, maybe the rest will help?

    Fingers crossed.
