Afternoon all, wiating on price porky to help out with a £40 shop, tic toc....
I need your help, here goes.
Last week dd2 dropped a massive bowl of cereal + milk on the nearly new lounge carpet and then used the carpet shampooer to clean it.
The shampooer had not been used for a couple of months and she didn't emply it so the water was, at the least "stale"
We have cleaned it several times but the smell is awful and OH is threatening to cut up the carpet if the smell is not gone by tonight.
He sat with his T shirt over his face last night!!
Really need something to neutralise the smell but even tried hand shampooing and removing with the industrial George but no better.....what next??

Try sprinkling bicarbonate of soda all over it tonight, leave overnight then hoover up. Ihad a similar problem and it took a few goes at bicarb to get rid of smell

Happy, I don't think that you would be able to use them straightaway on the flight as the batteries have to be charged first. HTH

If the last person that used the carpet cleaner hadn't of been lazy and emptied it after it was last used....;);)

Already thought about. They take a single AAA battery and I've got plenty of them on DTD.:rotfl::rotfl:
