    Hi DB..hope your cold clears up soon..mine's hung on for a week now:eek: Recipie below from LL also one from me too;
In a casserole dish slice an apple, onion, mushrooms, carrots (all whoopsied veg!) place pork loin on top and add a little water, cover and cook for about 1 hour then remove the cover and add some Aunt Bessie gravy granules to thicken, return to oven for further 10 mins, serve with potatoes, Yorkshire puds. You can also add diced potatoes if you prefer less washing up!

Are you sure this is true? I thought that since no fuel duty had been paid on it then it was illegal to use in your car.

Its very confusing isn't it. Theres a section about exempt users and anyone using under 2500 litres need not pay duty. I was confused as hell and actually rang the Excise office to ask.

He was very clear about it. Maybe you could ring and ask....be interesting to have a second opinion.

edit......you need to read your page in conjunction with this page which has the latest changes to the rules in it.

    4.2.1 Exempt producers/users

If you have produced or used less than 2,500 litres of:
    • any biofuel, or
    • any other fuel substitute or additive
within the last 12 months, and/or expect to produce or use less than 2,500 litres in the next 12 months, you are an exempt producer and do not need to register with us and account for duty. However, there are simple record keeping requirements, which are described in paragraph 4.9.1.
Production includes the manufacture or processing of road fuel, and the setting aside of any product that has not been charged with duty, with the intention of using it as road fuel.

I did exactly this shop yesterday, 2 porks and 6 wines plus other stuff to make uo to £40.
The wine I got was Garland Crest which is on 3 for £12 so I got 3 white and 3 red, does not compare so my JTD was just for pork. Mine came to £7 odd so maybe you could add something to get a petrol MOC and a bit more on your JTD.

This was yesterday so you would to double check everything again - has anyoen got a JTD from pork today yet from a shop done today?

Thanks very much - this is very clear. P

Hi. I am a long time lurker. I read as much as I can but with work and 3 kids it's not always easy to keep up! Wish I could contribute more but just don't seem to have time or find anything exciting to report, unlike you lot!!
Anyway, the kids went wobbling in T's this morning. They found a massive receipt. A club card has been used so what do I put in for the club card number? Do I just add a random digit??

Input all the details including the clubcard shown on the receipt..it misses off the last digit so first attempt try 0 if incorrect it will tell you..it retains all information so just try 1 next and so on up to 9 HTH

good to see you posting..feel free to join in when you have time :)
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Good morning all - DD let me have a lie in till well after 9 full of cold and got niggling back pain so I don't think i will venture too far today. I am waiting for pookie from yesterday braved the chicken and pork but think I may have bought the wrong chicken I just looked for one that was £5 but it has different packaging to the ones that were linked to yesterday so time will tell - no worries if it doesn't compare it was delis for dinner last night and enough left for sandwiches today.

We are having the pork loin tonight but it is that long since I cooked anything like this not sure how to do them yet - if anyone would like to share their recipes it would be great to see and also educational for others as I am sure lots of people have these in their freezers and might benefit from seeing different recipes
Happy birthday Kurly~Kale - have a fab day :bdaycake:

I posted this the other day so you might like it. Dip the pork in flour, egg and breadcrumbs, fry on both sides in oil or butter for a couple of mins each side till lightly browned. Then put on a baking tray and cook in a med oven for 15-20 mins ( till clear juices running out).
I serve with new potatoes and fine green beans. But another idea is to serve with pasta with a tomato sauce. HTH

Is anyone buying the toilet rolls for the petrol vouchers in a targeted shop against morrisons, was hoping for some advice on what else I could include?

I bought 8 packs toilet roll and a jar of coffee. Came to £47(minus the £5 when spend £40).I don't use the other things in the deal. Saved £27 on a fill of petrol (54 litres). I did this knowing that it would not compare at all but just a decent deal anyway.
