If anyone is still interested in my cheap cheese hunt :p
Along with the pork loin steaks and the chicken in my last JTD shop i got:
    2 x LAKE DISTRICT MATURE CHEDDAR 350G 6.00
Used £1.50 off voucher so £4.50 for two blocks.
APG: £2 , so £2.25 for two blocks, £1.25 each.

Not too cheap but certianly not as expensive as half price ;)
    HTH

Think i read somewhere that someone used the dairy £1moc on the cheese as well as the £1.50 moc...making it 75p a block... but i could be wrong

    With regards the Eight Grapes in a bag . . . .

Have had a few comments regarding these and usually say "I'm cooking a meal for friends tonight a kinda "Come Dine With Me" sorta thing and giving the wife the night off . . . " - "The grapes are for decoration on the Starters, do you know how long it takes to peel those little blighters, 8 can take me a good 30mins . . . "

All is said with a complete serious face and in a totally earnest manner - for some reason there are never any comments when I present my 4 mushrooms and half a carrot. ;)

Been a while since I was on the site and been fun reading up todays posts. :):)

i pulled off a peace of brocolli, the sa looked in strange way,

Still trying to think of a way to print from iPhone without wifi.

What if take a pic / screen shot of my screen showing the apg voucher, then transfer it to my pc and then to an ad card and then to my printer.
    Would this coupon scan?

I suppose I need to try it to find out.

MT reported last night that if you take your receipts into MrA they can often print them for you just ask as CS

    morning all,

phew just caught up on two days. Brain is hurting.

do remember that FK thought that glitches on msm don't tend to be fixed on a weekend. So if works sat should work sun.

i have four apgs to spend so will do 4 small shops. one with irn bru and yoghurts.

1 with loreal. 1 with coke. of course i will top up with the small items to be comparable.

must get in the shower and get some beer first.:D

    Beer in the shower?

    Thats hardcore

PS you would have laughed your head off at me and misery guts wombling today. The wind was blowing up the car park so we parked up at the end and climbed the hill to the fence :rotfl:

There were a few dog walkers scowling at us! We'd obviously claimed their "patch"

Why else would anyone walk the dog in a supermarket car park lol

This made me laugh and reminded me of my wombling last night with my OH - aka Misery guts MK2:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I really have to coax OH to do wombling thoroughly - he just doesn't understand how vital to our economy it is lol and yesterday I spotted a nice long juicy receipt underneath some trolleys. I pointed it out - OH kept saying where 'I can't see one' . I nearly exploded saying underneath the trolleys through gritted teeth. OH saw the light and almost crawled commando style to reach it. Only then did I notice a large queue of people peering over the railings from the bus stop watching the proceedings. :o:o:o:o:o:o

I negelcted to mention this to OH in case it put him off wombling for life but the looks on the peeps facing was amazing:D:D:D:D:D

    Morning fellow tramps and trampettes.

    :o

I've got a genuine question that needs answering on this fine day of Sunday.

Let's say Mr Tiller has a £3 off £30 conditional spend coupon valid at Tesco. He also has £15 worth of clubcard vouchers in his own name. His wife, Mrs Tiller, has £10 worth of clubcard vouchers and his son, Master Tiller, has £3 worth of clubcard vouchers.

    Now my question(s) is(are) this:

Could Mr Tiller scan his own clubcard on a £30 shop and then use his £3 off conditional spend, his £15 worth of clubcard vouchers AND his family's clubcard vouchers? Will the computer system on Tesco's fabulous tills allow this?

Or will their computer mainframes in Bangalore spontaneously combust?
