  • Long time no see folks! :)

Firstly I want to send my love to 3dogs and silvercar, also to all those other Elite and MATS appreciation society that need hugs :A:A

I won't bore you with the last few months, but thanks to a virus and now chest infection, I have been in bed for last 36 hrs feeling sorry for myself whilst the weather is super smashing outside, and this has been my first week off for the school holidays boo hiss, but seeing the positive side, I have spent the last 36 hrs here catching up on several threads and making lists. Trouble is I'm not fit enough to do the shops... Does one think the other half could do it?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I suppose I need to test him to find out!

    I'll report back..

I could cry at the thought of what I've spent on groceries the last few months, but I've gotta take a chill pill and start a fresh again:D

I've asked to be a member of skipping group (initials NW) if anyone wouldn't mind Going for a double Dutch with me
    . :T

Next question if I could, the car leaflet has left me a bit lost :rotfl: is this something that's been and gone, or current? Thank you in advance.

First thing this morning the Bavaria larger had still all gone, but I managed to find 3 packs of shandies, first time ive even found them, they are always OOS. Took a lot of convincing to get cashier to put them through though. She was like, 'computer says no' me: 'pardon?' her: 'Says only 1 coupon' me: 'Well the coupons say one per item purchased, not one per transaction' her 'says no bulk buying' me: 'Seriously?? 3 packs of shandies is "bulk buying"?' her: 'I can put them through one at at time in seperate transactions?' me: 'yeah, do what ya need to do'.

So I paid total about £1.50 for 3 x 6 shandies i was pretty happy :T But I cant see how getting the beer would be any good. If your putting them through seperatly, no price match, so your paying £1.50 for 4 beers.

Went to Sainsbury's to get the lager. Got five lager and four shandies. Till refused to take more than one coupon, so it would take one lager and one shandy. The SA tried a couple of times but the till said no. This was at about 2.30 so maybe they have changed it? I complained that it said one per product and the supervisor put them in as manual coupons. I had no problems in this store two days ago.

Oh yea always worth a go, I need to start making a note of what I have paid out to make sure it goes back in my account.

Confess me too, because all those odd bits add up:)

Just a heads up on cancelled orders..I had one cancelled by T's last week ( mis priced bike apparently ) Well they took the money and i got the typical email..waited for refund checked bank account 3-5 working days..no refund. Rang them and it hadn't been processed.."it always happens automatically ..can't understand why.blah blah blah" so they are putting it through manually...so be vigilant and always check.
I have to say it makes me even more determined with glitches etc as they are sooooo incompetent:eek:
      If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

How are people getting £5 wys vouchers from Tesco? I'm trying to plan a shop for about £100 of petrol and noticed it would be good to have that. I did receive a £3 off wys £20 the other day when I spent £20.
Pink is so not my colour :undecided
