I didn't get to use my £4 off £20 as it's valid from Sunday  :o

So I treated myself to some plastic wallets and a couple of clear pencil cases, and OH is going to bring me some paperclips home so I can get a bit more organised, I seem to have a lot of receipts and coupons floating about at the moment so am going to get them all sorted, as they are confusing me at the moment :rotfl:

glad it's not just me, i've got myself 4 little plastic wallet things from a 74p for all 4:rotfl:

Has anyone done the wine thing in combo with a mayo/juice shop? I'm wondering if any of the wines come back as N/A and thus dont interfere with a JTD whilst still counting toward a £40 spend to use a conditional spend.

edit.....just checked on MSM and all the garland crest varieties appear to be N/A so should be a goer! :)

Hi FK..did it with the Garland Crest Shiraz..18@5.79 a bottle..£104.00 less 32.22 -26.06 = £45.92 = 2.55 a bottle N/A for comparison so good for JTD and also using £5.00 of £40. which if you take into condiseration would make it 2.27 a bottle (Hic)
If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

if you look at clubcard rewards, you trade £5 into £20 tokens for Blackpool zoo, and there's others for the tower etc. The zoo is fab, dependant on age of your DD. You can also meet and greet with giraffes and sea lions amongst others for extra.

defo check out the clubcard rewards though and feel free to pm if you need any further info xx

Thank you will check it out
The Facebook meeting places are mainly used for when the forum is down for maintenence etc.... plus we can swear and post naughty pictures over there that wouldn't be allowed here.

Thank you - I can see that as being very worthwhile but not so sure on the swearing as I try not to:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
We bought tickets for the tower and circus online before we went and saved a fortune. There were tickets for £12 per family on 107fm thebee local radio station as well.

Thank you will definitely check this out - it is a long time since I have been and I think DD is looking forward to going up the tower but alas is looking forward to the pleasure beach more so no doubt we will be there for awhile (I loved it in my younger days but not so sure about it now)

OMG - you have trained him - there is hope after all :D

Mine understands that you have to check prices on mys before setting off and just about grasp doing various small shops whereby you are just comparing a few select times from 2 supermarkets so this is progress. He also just about comprehends buying 8 items and having to check and recheck the numbers before getting to the till.
What he cant grasp though is that the lists are perfect works of art and under no circumstances do you add or remove an item from them - that way lies madness.

He stands in the aisle and says, well I also need bread and ham for lunch sandwichs, stick those in as wel - cant understand why I go into meltdown and start spurting blood from every pore.
If I take mine with me and he wants anything "off list" he's told to put it through separately or in the whoopsie section of the trolly which is always a separate shop "for someone else"
