It's the free magazine not the one that costs £1.60, they do look very similar x
Similar in that they both have ice creams on the front
Different in that:
You want the yellow one not the blue one
You want the free one not the £1.60 one
You want the A5 one not the A4 one
You want the one stocked in 1 out of every 100 S's, not the one that's in every store!!!Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Well peeps I am working until 3am - so will be saying goodnight to the night crew and hello to the early morning crew probably at the same time.
Hate these night shifts especially after a day like today - managed to sprain my ankle whilst walking the dog earlier figured best get it checked at local hospital which actually was very quick only waited 20 mins to be seen!!
Then the nurse told me no weight bearing for 5/7 days like that is practical with all this shopping i have to get . Mind you she didnt offer any crutches so how am i supposed to non weight bear anyway??? Now I am sitting at work with it propped on the desk and with my keyboard on my lap lets hope no-one calls me as I can't see my computer screen........ :rotfl:Elite 5:2 #6 8 /34lbs0 -
Hi Spiralingdown any info you can pass on to me re MOCs in Florida would ne great we go in Novemberthere are 8 of us so any savings we can make on meals etc. would be a big help thanks.
The first thing I bought was a 'kids eat free' card from Florida tixs (I think that's what the site was called) cost £10 but only realised when out there that only does up to 10 yr olds.
There are little booklets everywhere with MOCs in them for various things from stores to attractions (not Disney or universal) and dinning experiences ranging from a few dollars or a percentage off the bill. Ds found most of these in the restaurants.
Publix and walmart have coupon booklets (think price flop) and a display stand of individual mocs at the door and also little machines on the shelves that you press to get one for that product.
We found Walmart a lot cheaper than Publix.
Places like Florida Mall have display stands filled with leaflets from the stores in there and most of them have a discount or set amount off. Dses Fav was build-a-bear as they had $5 off a $25 spend, he lifted loads of these even though he only ended up using 3 of them. I gave 3 to a couple who were trying to get their kids to only spend what they had been given but were failing badly, they were so grateful that I'd thought to give them any that the mother-in-law couldn't stop thanking me
Over there you can't help but bump into stands of MOCs
Check out the threads on here or The dibb for more experienced Florida travellers, they opened my eyes up and I got my car hire using one of their links for under £400 instead of over £800 and that was including initial tank of fuel, zero excess and up to 3 additional drivers! Also the car was picked up from Alamo unlike a previous cheap rental car I'd got.
HTH probably rambled a bit again but hope you can understand even a littleSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light
