Well it came out right in the end as CS gave you a £5 gift card.
But the golden rule is to stick like glue to the items on your shopping list (just have a couple extra items incase something is out of stock)
Anything extra including reduced items put through on a seperate shopOk, im slightly confused but i think im starting to make sense of the price check. mine was tesco v asda. I bought 2 x Bold liquitabs, £13.58 they were 6.00 in asda. so i was expecting a 7.58 JTD. but i also bought a load of whoopsies in the same shop. It compared these to full price items at asda. Eg, i bought a bag of parsnips for 15p, it compared them to 83p at asda, and seemed to take the difference off my total JTD because tesco were cheaper by the total basket price.
In the end i only got a £2 JTD, but after phoning customer service the dude gave me a £5 gift card and said I should have been refunded for it.
So do you get refunded via the TOTAL BASKET price or for the INDIVIDUAL items in the basket versus the other stores?
Sorry If im being dumb, im just trying to make sense of it so i dont make the same mistake again.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

thanks to the guys that replied. for some reason I had it in my head it compared per item, and you had to have 8 items. Understanding that it compares the total basket price makes WAY more sense now!
Yes, I am that dense! It turned out OK, i have my gift voucher coming, but its a lesson learnedwoopsies go in a seperate shop and have a list set out before hand for JTD.
Im off to MrT. in an hour so to get 25% off wine with the 3 for £12. :T0 -

Bit OT but Happy how much would a New Holland tractor cost new? Pleade don't ask why
I have no idea, a lot of money. At least 30K plus? what on earth for though?
Personally if it was my money I wouldn't buy a Ford (New Holland)
HC used to drive Renaults and despite them being French they were bloody good tractors. We had 3 of these on the farm I worked on..
Edit: Westie just googled it, 2nd hand New Holland, 2009 is £43,000.:eek::eek::eek:0
