do we know where the coffee compares to with Tesco?
I am thinking of getting 3xcoffee today along with 8x cheap items as we need some anyways, am i safe to throw in a pack of the pork loin as well as a chuck for good measure but dont want to get caught out if it compares to SainsbobsIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -
So I've worked out what to buy with a £40 petrol spend but now moving on to another member of the family. £100 a month but don't really want coffee or robinsons. We like beans. Don't think the ketchup is worth it. Any ideas?
Edit: can do with coffee if it works out really cheap.Pink is so not my colour :undecided0 -
Afternoon Elite!
Haven't been properly on for ages, what with various things going on I have skim-lurked when I can. Really hoping to get back on top of the thread asap!
Was just about to (hopefully) post details that the OJ is still working in A's and after inputting my details it is saying I didn't buy enough items which is not true! I am v peed off and would like to have a moan up but won't as it would clearly alert them to the OJ comparisonGlad I only bought 5 rather than 10 now
Picked up some Herbal Essences 2 in 1 Dazzling Shine for £1 (on a separate transaction) which for 400ml seemed like a good price.
In T's yesterday, I managed to pick up a Toy Story 3 Toddler Bed in a Bag for £8 and some Disney Princess art sets reduced down to £2.25 x0 -

I had the most awfulest trouting today.
Went to T's to return my 6 lenor that didn't compare. I said I would like to return them & buy the ones on offer instead. Troutface cs scrutinised my receipt seeing the many vouchers redeemed (& her face getting troutier by the second)said go get the ones you want & I will do an exchange she proceeded to hold on to my receipt. I said I needed it as I had a price promise voucher (pookie love that word) to use (£6.02p). Uhh Ohh!! OMG big mistake:eek::eek:This really raised her interest :eek:
I got the exchange & had to pay extra 6p as £1.99 vs £2. She began to write down all of my vouchers from receipt onto a scrap of paper.
Went & did my shop & could feel eyes on me at the manned checkout some guy with mouthpiece talking to sa. Put my shopping through then I presented my mocs & pookie. He said had to varify as never seen one before & suddenly this incharge cs person said "Have you used this voucher before"
I said "excuse me, of course I haven't"
"I've just seen the very same no.s at customer service". I proceeded to explain that was for something completely different it was for an exchange Bla bla!!
By this time I was fuming being accused of using the pookie before in front of customers. Anyway, she said she needed to keep my receipt. I said the receipt is my property it's about time you tesco employees knew their jobs & a few other choice words:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Went back to cs person as I knew she was the one who started it all & gave her a piece of my mind & explained how the other incharge person had made me feel very uncomfortable & how embarrassed I felt & that I would be contacting head office :eek::eek:.
Got several more mags on way out but got far too many as is
It put me into a real bad mood & I couldn't think straight went on to A's & messed up my £15+ APG by not buying enough comparable items.:eek:
My day had really started well though. I had been to my local Boots & bought 6 Soltan & glitch worked so £5.49 for all of them.
Sorry for long post. Probably doesn't make much sense but knew this would be the best place to vent:o
I had a similar thing happen last year when there was an offer on points with perfume. Basically I bought some the after shave instead of the perfume ( similar bottle) and exchanged it the next day. The points offer was the same on both so no change there. it was 5000 points and a week later I realised they were missing from my account. Then next time I went in I was followed around the shop and in the end I confronted the assistant manager and demanded to know what I had done. Apparently they had been told by HO to remove my points so wanted my clubcard. I refused and it appears when I had done the exchange the CS lady had made a note of my cc no and investigated my account.
It took me 3 weeks, numeruous phone calls and 2 meeting with the manager to sort it out. In that time they removed and added the points 3 times!!
The trout does not remember me now but the manager always has a chat and ask me what bargains I got today.0 -

Right off to carry on trying to catch upSilence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
New to this so unsure how it all works but as far as I can see is with an initial spend of ten pounds of so on mayo or squash I can get a JTD voucher back and if I keep repeating over new deals effectivly getting products at next to nothing and constantly having JTD vouchers? Or have I got it completely wrong? Thanks0
