But you're giving them your mobile number. Is there info on this somewhere? Can you follow your message with STOP to stop receiving future SMS?

I always give a mobile phone number I had about 5 years ago on forms that ask for a number. I also got a deal from Talk Mobile last year for a sim card on a £1.00 per month contract that I keep in an old phone and use that for giving out if the company needs to text me. I also got my Mum one of the Talk Sim's and she keeps it in her mobile that she rarely uses but my sis uses it when she comes home from abroad so that we can call her when she takes Mum out and about.

Shandy now on offer as S at £1.49

Ok, time for some fun, any other ideas appreciated

    9 sets of shandy at £1.49 = £13.41 (A£1)
bold rose laundry gel capsules £6.79 (A£3)
    total £20.20

    use nine shandy £1 MOCs = £11.20
also use your previous BM to get the total down further

so you should get a BM of 8.20 if this is working correctly

I suppose you could play around with this according to how much stock your store has - substitute one shandy for a beer (use a £1.50 MOC) but this will affect your totals and BM.
Or you could substitute one shandy for a Cravendale and use a 50p MOC also from the magazine (dont buy 2 as A is matched on 2 bottles).
Or these are £2.80 in S and £2 in A, use a 50p MOc -.McCain Home Chips Straight Cut (1.8Kg) so these would substitute for 2 shandys.
Ideally you need a variety of items all with MOCs, hand over the other MOCs first and the beer and shandy ones last :D
Then if the beer and shandy MOCs are refused be brave and leave the lot at the till - not the till boys fault and a bit cruel for them, oh dear.
But all the items are correct, right item, right variety, all in date so all of the MOCs should be accepted.

Dont let them take you to CS - no catalina machines so you wont get a BM

Anyone know what happens with a BM if you spend less than the BM..

My backup, has been to get 6 beers and 1 shandy if theres only 6 beers left on the shelf

As S had dropped the price of the shandy that plan has changed slightly, so now plan to get 6 beers and 2 shandys. that will leave me £9.98 to pay after coupons but my BM is £10..

Im not bothered about the 2p:rotfl: but need to know the BM will be accepted at the till as its for more than i need to pay.

Wont need to do this of course, assuming theres beers in 7's, 14s or 21s ;)

It's not making sense. I've not had any problem with putting 7 through at a time.
Last night the SA wasn't happy, but it was only because it meant more work for him scanning all the coupons and doing three seperate transactions. He made a comment about how much money S's had "given" me and what pub did I own, but didn't say there was a limit as to how many anyone could buy with the coupons.
I've bought them in 3 different stores. The one last night where I got the 21 bottles have never had any mags, but the 2 smaller stores have both had them. Got a few more last night :o:o
Not yet in Lala's or FK's league, but I'm doing rather well on this one :T:T
I reckon you could be up their with the BeerBMaholics;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Misslaid I've got one of those lovely young male;)SA's who says if it scans it's fine:T:T:T

Can you work the maths for me please?

I can see that you need to buy 2 robinsons for £7 which should give you a £3 jtd so if you bought 4 in one shop that would give £6 jTD.
So would you get 2 petrol vouchers in one shop?
Then you can use your £6 JTD against your next shop of 4 Robinsons.
So in the end how many bottles of Robinsons, how much actually spent and how much saved on fuel?

Our tanks only hold 43 litres so a 5p voucher usually saves us about £2 at the most. So 50p in vouchers would save us about £20 at the very most - I suppose if you have a big petrol tank the vouchers are better value.

I am a bit worried that if the JTD does not match it would look a bit odd taking it back to CS

Firstly let me state this. I never take anything back to CS because I don't ever want my profile raising. I haven't done DTD instore since before DTD on price check started. I will hammer them when Price Promise finishes (which it will) again but for now I like to keep a low profile.

If each voucher saves you £4 use it as that in your Math.

If you are getting Robbinson's at 2 for £7 and getting £4 off, you are effectively getting 2 lots of Robbinson's for £3. A great deal. If it compares (which I will tell you in about 3 hours) then you get them for £7 - £3 JTD - £4 petrol = -£1 i.e. paid to take them.

    I would buy this shop:
    6 x Robbinsons = £21 + 30p off Petrol.
    1 x Peperoni Dr Otker Pizza = £1 (use £1 pizza voucher).
6 x different cheap value items for less than £1.

    Total spend £22 - JTD voucher back of £9.75 = £12.25
total in Fuel coupons = £12 i.e. pay 25p to take away all your shopping (and clubcard points).

A similar calculation with the Beans.

    4 x Heinz beans = £9 Mr T £6 Mr A. = £3 JTD.
    Buy 3 x 4 x HB = 48 tins for £27.
    1 x Peperoni Dr Otker Pizza = £1 (use £1 pizza voucher).
6 x different cheap value items for less than £1.

Total spend £29 - JTD voucher back of £9.75.
total in Fuel coupons = £12 i.e. pay £7.25 to take away all your shopping (and clubcard points).

Then repeat this with your JTD vouchers. Hope this helps you. :A

I think I already illustrated the coffee example. :A
