how'd you get so many wombled receipts?? in my local i barely find any long (receipts) nowadays! bet you must be having a field day putting them through price check!! is it possible to put a receipt that I 'found' , thats already had the cc points claimed, through price check do you know?
Look in hedges :rotfl:you'll end up finding a wind trap where everything gets blown into..;);) SA on SS was very untidy today, lots of receipts on the floor so I did em a favour
Yep no probs with putting one in that has points added, but dont use a email addy thats registered with Ts, use a spare hotmail etc or yopmail.. when you spend it dont use your CC to be on the safe side.Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -
Evening all, I haven't managed to find any bargains in the supermarkets for 2 days but did manage to get a bargain off their notice boards.
Someone was selling a 3 piece brown Italian leather suite (sofa & 2 chairs) for £150, I have wanted a leather suite for a long while but there was no way we could ever afford 1 and even second hand round here there about £800 for a full suite.
It is absolutely gorgeous & so comfy, all I've got to do now is stop the dog jumping on it.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
march wins - dog treats0 -

Well done you - sounds like a real bargain to me. I hate paying full price for anything. When I think back to how much money I used to waste..............

Lol are you calling me a fairy? xWe are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

It grieves me to pay full price too, we went to a bootsale yesterday and found a video/dvd combi player, the man said I could have it for £2 because the DVD was faulty after i'd paid he said "you might be able to get someone to look at it for you" his face was a picture when I said I used to built them so I'd take a look myself.
After taking it apart all that was wrong was the dvd housing had come off its mounting, put it back and it works perfect.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.

Just trying to highlight the fact that it is not necessary to buy cheap comparable items as long as it is a good price for the product and you need or will use it.
Does anyone actually get what I'm trying to say?
I get what you are saying. Of course the comparable items don't have to be the cheapest of the cheap products
I was just curious whether you get a £1.70 APG back per bottle on a £10 bottle, or a £15 bottle or a £20 bottle, etc. Without knowing that I don't actually know how good a deal it isApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
:eek::eek::eek:
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh haven't had a chance to sit down and relax all day!!! :eek:
I've literally just got in and was hoping that I'd found something new but I saw that it's already been reportedStory of my life!
The 2 litre Dr Pepper, Fanta, Lilt and Sprite are definitely scanning this evening at £1.26 bogof
I have to confess, probably a poor decision on my partI found these in passing this morning on T.com but thought I'd confirm before posting. Got distracted then totally forgot about it and forgot my list when I went to T's :eek: But luckily as I'm out of Pepsi Max :eek::eek::(:(:(:( I visited the soft drinks aisle and spotted them
Only a few of the 'zero' sugar flavours on the shelf so only got 4 bottles but quite a few empty spaces.
Did LOTS of cooking today. For dinner I did a mixture of sticky teriyaki beef and roast chicken legs with new potatoes, sprouts, carrots, creamy swede mash and gravy. Simultaneously I made a quiche with fried onion (from a whoopsied root veg pack) MAM crispy bacon and some cheddar cheese from a block whoopsied to 9p :T;
and from the remainder of the pastry an egg custard tart;
They are both EXTREMELY rustic so excuse:o But I love seeing other people's piccies so I'll share
Unfortunately I had major pastry shrinkage and as a result both couldn't hold as much filling as I'd hoped:(
But they still tasted scrummy, even if I do say so myself;):cool:
Hope all's as well as can be with you lovely lot....off to catch up with a cuppa'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
Evening, does anyone know of somewhere in London that is not too expensive to stay for 3 nights. DS has been offered a week work experience and so we are looking as to whether he can take up the offer, depending on what costs are involved. thanksIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0

My OH is deada against putting supermarket fuel in the car, but I got 5 coupons today, filled up the car at a cost of £83 minus 5 coupons... I saved £30... total to pay £53... Well chuffed with that..
people say that the items are overpriced just to get the 10p off per litre, but if you max it out with JTD's, you'll get some of it back, plus, I must say, they items that have put on the offer are everyday items that I would buy anyway.. eg baked beans, tomato ketchup Robinsons etc etc...
Im not complaining, and I hope the offer lasts a few weeks... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
BTW... evening everyone, missing you all... Im sorry Ive been posting must lately but, me S's dont stock the lager, A's is about 50 miles away... plus we're busy renovating the house as well as work and life in general.... I dont get much time to think let alone anything else.. But I do check up on you when I get the time.. :beer::beer::beer:
Hope everyone's well... Any news on how Mrs 3dogs is???
