stupid Honda, how dare a group of people, only interested in vouchers, come and waste their time and money in test driving their car then complain they didnt receive the vouchers that have cost them nothing but 2 hours of their time checking out a new model!

i got M&S vouchers when i got sky as i was recommended by a friend, they took 4 months to come through, so i'd be patient...

Probably not but i googled this and found many disgruntled people and because of this my local dealership has missed out on two sales that theyd have otherwise had. My parents got a tiguan last week instead just for one example!

your parents bought a completely different car just because of the lack of vouchers?

Indeed, probably an excellent car, however latest version looks like hell, what on earth were Honda thinking, previous model was odd enough already it needed no further exaggerations.

each to their own i guess, love the look of the outgoing civic, think the new one looks stunning (when specced up).
Golf, Focus, A3, Astra all look too similar and boring...

Yes, i know. If they cant stump up vouchers then how will they service a car etc. may try rip you off in other ways. I chased that much because for such a small amount the cynic in me thinks they will think we will forget and not chase, so ive done the opposite. Yes, my mum wanted that honda crv or whatever but i told them the local dealer/honda dont keep their word so pointed her in diirection of vw who have been great, fixing problems when needed such as readjusting a door without charge etc. its customer service, pure and simple!

Very true, but if they offer it then its up to me to take it up and for them to oblige, thats contract law for you! If they dont want people doing it dont make the offer!

Talking of contract law, take Honda to court then. Over a dinner's worth of vouchers!

If Honda can't be trusted to meet a most basic promise, how can they be expected to adequately perform the terms of a contract in relation to after-sales, etc.?

No one forced Honda to offer the vouchers. Clearly it was an incentive to test drive their cars. Unfortunately they've suffered negative PR because of this straightforward marketing activity which has gone horribly wrong.
  • Chased up good few times since first post, no one got back to me still. Very poor customer service, spoken to honda uk and the local dealer. I chase up each monday. Anyone received their vouchers?

you ever thought that Honda havent got an office full of vouchers they are struggling to administer, but actually it's a promo company letting you down?!? you not thought that Honda have got better things to do then send out vouchers (hence the promo company!?!)

If you did your research, im pretty sure Honda came top of the surveys for customer service, and for cheapest costs in services. So sad to think that they will drop out the top 10 next year as Dave Hodgetts, Managing Director of Honda UK, has run out of stamps to send out the vouchers...
