Invitation Letter for Russian Visa

HI all,

I have planned to go to Russia for a week, and apparently, for Visa purposes I need some kind of invitation letter. Unfortunately, the hotels charge up tp £35 for this service.

Anyone an idea where I could get such a letter (should make the embassy happy of course) for free?

Dear flyer31,

You may obtain the free invitation from mostly all 4 or 5 star hotels in Russia. Especially chained hotels like Best Western if you are going to Moscow.

Otherwise you may purchase the invitation online for cheaper than £35.00

I don't think you could get a free invitation from a travel agency.
