i have been trying to claim ppi back from monument which is basically barclays i have been told that monument didnt do ppi but they did do pbp after a few month going from monument to barclays and back again i have received a letter from barclays this morning saying that because the circumstances of which it was sold or not sold to me they will offer me £783 as a final settlement which still leaves me in debt of £2383 with a debt collection agency from a debt which i thought was paid off with my barclay card after a few year down the line i find that i still owe monument but has already been passed to a debt collection agency happy times eh not too sure what to do?

Who did you paid it to?
When you paid the debt...did you not receive a written confirmation?
Are you saying you paid the debt with a Barclaycard?

Who did you initially send the PPI request too?
Did you use a template for your letter or did you write your own?
What was the jist of your letter?
I am in a similar situation to you and want to claim my Payment Break Plan back. This would be extremely useful to me.
