That must really irk you.
What a shame.
'Agitprop' was a good word to describe this poster that someone used earlier. The above post is a true colours job and demonstrates that winding up is the prime if not the sole purpose. This kind of individual usually reverts to type like this sooner or later.
Of course 'most of the world' is not doing anything of the kind. It's a part of the left-wing element in the world that is doing so. Classic socialist (or Marxist) politics-of-envy tactics is to label anyone who is better off than anyone else in any way as "selfish".
Young people who know which end is up realise that they are living in difficult times, appreciate the help that many of them therefore get from the "selfish" generation, and set about making the effort to forge a decent life for themselves. Others sit back and moan, seek futile comfort in alcohol and excessive consumerism, find someone else to blame for all their shortcomings, and post thinly disguised leftist propaganda on website forums.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

He may well be but it this case he is 100% right.
Indeed, and if Devon stopped playing these games then I'd have nothing to pick up on. Simples.
NB: Did anyone notice how Devon didn't even apologise or acknowledge the way he twisted ukcarpers words. All he did was to try and deflect attention away from the point we both made. He is really rather good at forumnomics.0 -

This is exactly what you do Renoman, so it's definitely a case of pot and kettle.
You are very adept at twisting and deflecting a discussion. So until you stop doing it yourself I suggest you don't accuse others of doing it.0 -
With himself, as well as you ?
Says the man whose last seven posts consist of 3 posts attacking me and 2 posts attacking Hamish (someone else he is fixated on). What an astonishing lack of self awareness!
What do Hamish and myself have in common? We are both doing better financially than DervProf (his words not mine). Deary me, if his finances bother him so much he should get a better job or learn to manage his finances better!0 -

I don't so why did he twist what I said. I have no vested interest but some people seem obsessed by house prices and can't see the real problems facing people. It's no good house prices falling if the only job you can get is 20 hrs stacking shelves.0 -

Have you 'given up' completely and will now avoid me on the forum and not participate in any discussions with me or indeed make any sly digs at me that could end up in debate/discussion.
Or is your 'bye' just confined to this particular discussion and the difficult questions you refuse to answer?
I hope it is the former because otherwise people might start suggesting that you lost a discussion and flounced out of it, then returned in later discussions to get revenge, desperately hoping that people had forgotten about your drubbing here.
Shortchanged proving once again how much he is smarting from the previous forum drubbings I have handed out to him.:)0 -

Thanks RT. A really interesting and informative article that really made me sit up. It takes me back to an earlier point that I made where you'd get your message across far better if you made it without all the hystrionics.
I'm changing my viewpoint on this. Thanks again for the info.0
