Hidden base phone

Hi

For various reasons my parents phone cable needs re-routing - comes into the property via a cupboard. Rather than tack the cable back in - is there a phone with a base that could sit in the cupboard - with 2 satellite phone, with access to an answerphone etc?

With a Panasonic phone plus an answer machine you can access any messages from any of the phones.

They'd need an adjacent mains power supply but, then, many DECT/Answering machine systems would meet their needs (i.e. message pickup from handset or base).
