You really need to get this to an autobox specialist, ideally with great MB knowledge straightaway.
Autos don't use up fluid so it is either being lost to an external leak (actually the best news) of the fluid cooler is allowing radiator water to mix in the autobox. That will cost you big bucks to resolve.0 -

Unless a Fedauto member it might be prudent to avoid the usual automatic gearbox specialists, a recommended MB indy should be the first visit.0

This car, 220CDi, E or C Class is notorious for problems with the auto gearbox. Prepare for the worst and you are looking at £1500 to resolve. Hopefully it is something simple.Mortgage free
