Anyone else applied for this card?

We just completed the online application, given instant approval and it says the credit limit is £10,000!

Will this be the real credit limit as although we have had high limits given in the past, this is the highest ever.

Yeah I applied a few days ago. I got my credit agreement and sent that back, then a few days later I got some online login details so I could activate my online account. then today I got sent my PIN but no sign of the actual card itself yet! :o
Hopefully it will come tomorrow! When I applied it said I had a minimum credit limit of £2100 so they might just be being very generous with you! If mine comes soon I'll let you know what limit they actually gave me

    That's generous - they gave me a paltry £1500.

Yes, the credit limit I was given during the online application was the actual credit limit on my account.

Yes - no interest is charged during the period of the offer (whatever it may be).

But - it doesn't mean you never pay interest on the purchase made in the period only that during that period there is no interest accruing. As soon as the interest-free period ends you will begin being charged interest, whenever you made the purchase, even if it were the previous day.

I dont think you can pay a DD for 10%, it will be either the minimum amount or the full balance, if you set it up for the minimum amount then make additional payments on top.
Aiming to be debt free....but still off target

Yes, by internal transfer if you have a Halifax account, or by setting up a regular payment, so that you can specify amount and date. Remember to note how long your bank says payment will take to avoid late payment penalties.

Yes. However, you would be better off paying that £50 into a regular saving account and then using the account to pay the whole lot off at the end of the year because you will get to keep the interest.
