Bush Bush washing machine no power-dead as a dodo!

My Bush WM-1270 TVE 18 months old bought from Argos is completely dead,mains fise & internal fuse check out ok,power going into washer-put still dead,where do I stand with Argos?-bought over the internet,doubt if I've got the purchase e mail-still got the deliverly note though!!-not impressed only use it twice a week max as i'm single;)
Better get onto argos customer services I think,if anyone knows what the fault/component is u/s =I can mend it myself-I fix copiers ,so It cant be that hard!!:D

    Possible PCB failure?

    Could be a few things:

    PCB as already stated - programmer - door lock

    If its out of guarantee / warrenty then contact a local washing machine repair engineer, they'll give you a free quote for a repair.

    Got mains power on operation switch,cant get any continuty on the door lock-could be the possible fault

    Door locks are quite a common fault, they have an interlock for obvious reasons !

    Should be a cheap fix as door locks dont cost a great deal.

    I think you only get a 12 month guarantee but it's worth giving them a ring to find out. Was there not a 2-years warranty one with Bush?



    Can you see the transformer, is there power at the other side of it?

    Dont think it's the door switch I've got 240v to switch-stripped switch & checked/clean contacts got continuity ,so I'm hedging my bets on the pcb

    :j Fitted new main pcb-sorted,bypassed the door switch with no joy ,so I knew it was the main board
